Description: The West Pier was a proud historical pier and meeting place for the people of Brighton since it was built in 1866. After two fires, it has been deteriorating since then. It is only one of two grade one listed piers in the UK.  Four encaustic panels are embodied in a fram.

Artist’s Comments: The old rusty bones of this iconic structure is well loved by all including hundreds of starlings who fly a wonderful dance above it.
